Washed up rockband broke, bring lawsuit in desparation.

The Romantics - Is This Guy Serious?

Nobody is ever surprised when a washed up celebrity, athlete, or musician brings a lawsuit against somebody in a last-ditch attempt to make some money. As such, nobody is shocked that the Romantics are suing Activision, the California-based game makers who created the wildly successful Guitar Hero games. "Why would they sue?"  you might ask. One would assume that maybe Activision forgot to sign one of the dotted lines when securing copyright agreements to be able to reproduce the song, right?

WRONG! The band is actually claiming that the cover of the Romantics' "What I like I about you" sounds so much like the original, that it infringes on the groups rights to their own likeness. To put it simply - The cover was too good. While every band on Guitar Hero should be honored, as the game undoubtedly increased sales for obscure bands nobody remembered until they played , the Romantics have taken a re-popularization of their song as some sort of imaginary slight. Unacceptable.

Heather Mills – As Ludicrous as they come!

uHeather Mills - No Leg to Stand One

I'm a little bit confused, because for some reason it seemed as though Fox News thought it was important to let everybody know that Heather Mills, the psycho ex who is doing everything in her power to terrorize the McCartney family, is publicly proclaiming that she's perturbed because she's not getting more than 10% discount at McCartney's botique in London.

Undoubtedly you guys care as little about this as I do, but in this particular instance it really seems as though Heather doesn't have a leg to stand on!  For weeks Heather Mills has been saying terrible things about the McCartney family, but is now publicly lambasting them for not getting a big enough discount at a botique? Hey, here's a thought - SHOP SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!
