Washed up rockband broke, bring lawsuit in desparation.

Nobody is ever surprised when a washed up celebrity, athlete, or musician brings a lawsuit against somebody in a last-ditch attempt to make some money. As such, nobody is shocked that the Romantics are suing Activision, the California-based game makers who created the wildly successful Guitar Hero games. "Why would they sue?" you might ask. One would assume that maybe Activision forgot to sign one of the dotted lines when securing copyright agreements to be able to reproduce the song, right?
WRONG! The band is actually claiming that the cover of the Romantics' "What I like I about you" sounds so much like the original, that it infringes on the groups rights to their own likeness. To put it simply - The cover was too good. While every band on Guitar Hero should be honored, as the game undoubtedly increased sales for obscure bands nobody remembered until they played , the Romantics have taken a re-popularization of their song as some sort of imaginary slight. Unacceptable.
