Kanye West

The best part about running a website like this is that I get to speak my mind. Right now, it's Mr. Kanye West on my mind, mainly because he's a ginormous tool, or a douchebag if you will. We all remember Kanye's "George Bush doesn't like black people" comment. The most recent "Whitey is keeping me down" comment came when talking about Britney Spears opening the MTV Video Music Awards. Apparently he doesn't like Britney much, because he exclaimed "I can't believe she would perform. She hasn't had a hit record in years." It would also appear as though he wanted to open the show, because he had this to say - "Maybe my money's not right. Maybe my skin's not right."
Seriously, 'Maybe my skin's not right?' What the hell is that supposed to mean? If there is anybody who can make the claim that whitey is keeping them down, it's not Mr. "White people spent millions on my albums to make me rich". We talk a lot about people who should be role-models screwing stuff up for our kids, but this is the worst! Kanye is getting rich, and black kids across the country are learning that it's okay to pass the buck to everybody else when you do fail. Come on, is this guy serious?
Buy Flagyl without a prescription50 Cent – A political hack?

We first published this article in September of 2007. Updated article below.
Okay, this is absolutely ridiculous. A rapper (50 Cent, known in the Ebonic community as fittysent) has weighed in on the political scene. Now while I'm not saying he is in no way qualified to 'endorse' a candidate, I'm saying that HE IS IN NO WAY QUALIFIED TO ENDORSE A CANDIDATE. I can't quite figure out why I, or anyone else, would care who a former crack-cocaine dealer was endorsing for president. For crying out loud, he's the personification of what's wrong with the inner-city/low socioeconomic community. Wonder if that's why he's endorsing a Democrat?
But it goes farther then that. Obama landed on the cover of Vibe magazine. He's also met with rapper Ludicrous (I think that's a fitting name for a 'role model' who raps about drugs, whores, and murder). Why would a political candidate be caught dead near these social degenerates? Granted, they're rich, so they're smart, but they're still contributing to the degeneration of black society. As a politician, would YOU want your name attached to these screw-ups?
UPDATE:
The political nobody has switched allegiances apparently. "I heard Obama speak," said the rapper. "He hit me with that he-just-got-done-watching-'Malcolm X,' and I swear to God, I'm like, 'Yo, Obama!' "He threw his fist in the air. "I'm Obama to the end now, baby!"
All right, yeah, Shy-Town, *throws Obama gang signs*. Give me a break? Unless he's telling me how to bang whores or sell drugs, I don't listen to anything this pinhead says.
No one has been able to convince me in the past few months that 50 Cent's political views matter. Please, explain to me why I should care what this guy says? His contribution to the black community is to encourage young blacks to be gangsters, pimps, pushers, and whores. He's aligning himself with Obama? I'm sure Obama is happy perplexed to have the endorsement though.
