Bachmann is Bat Shit Crazy
So mostly this site is a satirical take on people who do, or say, or are ridiculous, and hopefully no one takes us seriously, but on this point I am actually writing because I'm afraid. If I were to be defined politically I would probably be labeled a libertarian. With this distinction it is not surprising that I have been know to vote republican. This small digression into my personal politics hopefully lays out that I am not a liberal agent of doom out to destroy republican candidates for President.
That being said, Michelle Bachmann is bat shit crazy and I am becoming increasingly more disturbed as she climbs in the poles. I write this not to Bachmann, but to you, her supporters, who are obviously in a lot of pain because your heads are so far up your ass that the strain must be getting to you. People who support Bachman claim that liberals are destroying this country. I guarantee you that no worse damage could be done to this country than if she were elected president.
Tea Party activists - how do you reconcile smaller government and Bachmann's crusade to stop porn and put a waiting period on divorces? Both of those things could require the government to expand and reach even more into our daily lives. Not to mention trashing the first amendment that we all cherish so much.
Religious Fundamentalists - I can see you support her since she has helped write a book laying out why the American government should become a theocracy. I can see you being pleased that she went to a law school that encouraged it's 40% graduating class to interpret laws biblically, and act as change agents in this country. I do have one question though. What makes you think she believes what you do? Even now you can enjoy your particular brand of crazy without interference from the government, but I don't think you would enjoy that freedom if Bachmann had her way.
In this blog we laughingly ask if the people we write about are serious. I think that Bachmann is serious, and she actually believes God has asked her to do these things. I would so much rather it be an act, or some placating to energize her base, but the next time you see her on television, look in her eyes. Like the title says, she is bat shit crazy and those who doubt it are equally as crazy. This is just an introduction to all the things about Bachmann that are utterly ridiculous. I would not be surprised if more ITGS posts about Bachmann come up, because every time I listen to, watch, or read about Michelle Bachmann I ask, "Is this bat shit crazy woman serious?"

Is this guy serious? On any top ten douche bag list this guy usually comes in at number 3 or 4. I mean, what's his base? Old, rich, white guys with an affinity for self denial about their hair? The only reason people watch his moronic show is because they think he's a jackass in the board room, and at this moment American households thrive on Schadenfreude (don't be afraid to look it up). That is a great platform to come from. I can't think of one thing that he could be in touch with the average American.
If he does decide to actually campaign, I think that there could be some good entertainment in it, but it is annoying that the national political stage keeps moving from substance to this garbage. Please don't let Donald Trump extend his already overdue 15 minutes of fame with this crap. Donald Trump is wasting the valuable oxygen that other people need.

So this week the Supreme Court is seeing a case that revolves around Fred Phelps, and the Westboro Baptist Church that he is the pastor of. Sorry, pastor and church are a stretch, I'll say leader and cult...yeah, cults have leaders. If you don't already know, Phelps and his band of bigots go to funerals of fallen soldiers and taunt the bereaved. Basically linking the death of soldiers as punishment for the United States allowing homosexuals to roam free. Initially he lost the first lawsuit, then the amount of money was reduced in appeal, then was reversed in another appeal, and now it lays before the Supreme Court. So, the issue before the court: are the WBC "protests" protected speech.
I think the Supreme Court will uphold the the current decision. Hate has become a very protected form of speech in this country. However, this is all beside my real question I want to ask. Is this guy serious? Does anyone really get to the point of obsessive hate that Phelps has reached and still remain clinically sane? I think not. In addition to the hate, he has a complex that him and his family are the only "elected" people of God who are guaranteed salvation since before they were born. If this is the case wouldn't you just want to relax? Can't he take some time off from hating for a while. I mean he's "elected" what does it matter. I don't mind if the Supreme Court rules in Phelps favor, just as long as the reason they give is that you can't sue someone who is mentally handicapped. That is a decision I can embrace.
So to wrap up, Phelps is a giant douchebag. (I ran out of cleverness)
Sister Norma Giannini – The Sex Nun
I went to a private Catholic college, but unfortunately I was never molested by a nun. If Sister Norma Giannini had been teaching at my school though there is a better than likely chance I would have gotten felt up too! I write this because sister Giannini, a 79 year old nun, has been sentenced to a year in jail for the sexual assault of two boys who came out in 1996 accusing the nun of abusing them.
As unfortunate as this is, I can't help but read news stories about people like her and feel enraged. I can't remember the last time I got through the day without reading or hearing about somebody in a position of power who is supposed to be taking care of our children, doing the exact opposite and hurting them. Not being the kind of person who gets off on little children I have absolutely no idea what is going through these people's minds, but it seems like it would stand to reason that there has to be some sort of indicators that things like this are happening. Really though, this is just getting sick.

Lorello's job pays over $70,000.00 a year, which leads one to believe he's at least reasonably intelligent...so how did he get caught with hundreds of stolen items? Sometimes it's really hard not to be disappointed in humanity.
Michael Villani – One of the most ridiculous judges around!
I feel the need to preface this post by explaining that nobody at ITGS advocates feigned patriotism, or over the top gestures that may really be nothing more than marketing gimmicks disguised as patriotism. Unfortunately Las Vegas judge Michael Villani is helping to perpetuate the ridiculous idea that such gestures are acceptable by not allowing a Las Vegas car dealership to fly an oversized American flag on a gigantic pole at the dealership. Clark County District Court Judge Michael Villani ruled that he would not allow the dealership to fly the flag because he felt it was a marketing gimmick.
I am, of course, doing what all sorts of people are doing by posting the story in blogs and on news stories (I found it at www.foxnews.com), but had the judge simply allowed the flag to be flown nobody would even know what was going on. Now outlets like Fox News are going to report on it, the judge will be vilified in the public eye as Anti-American, and sales will undoubtedly increase because the judge feels it's the government's place to have restrictions on flags flying at car dealerships. Seriously, why bother meddling in crap like this? It's mystifying that we pay public officials to spend time on stuff like this!

I don't know if it's just me, but I hate Dogg the Bounty hunter. Aside from being a complete tool, the guy has absolutely nothing to offer society. It still struck me as a bit odd though that Dogg's brother, also in the show, was found by mall security guards without any pants on in his truck at a mall parking lot. Claiming that he spilled orange juice on his pants and was just changing, Chapman was arrested and then released shortly after.
As with most of the stuff we end up posting on this site, I found myself asking "Now you don't catch average every day citizens in mall parking lots without pants very often...especially missing enough clothes to be arrested. So why is somebody in the public eye dumb enough to be caught doing it and arrested?" As with any other time I ask that question, I could not come up with a logical answer. All I could ask was "Is This guy Serious?". Just because he's a giant D-Bag, I'm really hoping that he has to register as a sex offender.

Is it just me, or is Dr. Phil really the answer to a question that nobody asked? Why does Dr. Phil get paid millions of dollars to tell people stuff like this? The thing with Britney is pretty obvious as well - She's "out in the field, window-licking crazy," which nobody is going to dispute.
