Shinzo Abe – Japanese PM Quitting?
The best part about this site is that we can go from Vanessa Hudgens nude pictures and Kanye West's racial blow up to Larry Craig's legal troubles and Dennis Kucinich's douchebaggery. How cool is that? Before I go to bed, I wanted to post Japanese prime minister Shinzo Abe. Though his government is only a year old, Abe is quitting because he "lacks the power to rally the people together."
What I'm a bit confused about is why he's quitting rather than fix the problem. While sometimes I think it would be spectacular if the United States government followed a plan in which politicians would quit if they weren't succeeding after a year, this seems a bit asinine. Come on, is this guy serious? One year isn't enough time to effect massive change. Fix it, don't quit.
