Britney Spears – “I looked like a fat pig!”
I swore to myself I wasn't going to do it, that I would not put Britney on the site for her involvement with the VMAs. I caught it, I was never a big fan, but I didn't see much wrong. For a woman now in her twenties who has had two children in the past few years, I thought she looked pretty darn good. Of course I can't critique the performance because I wouldn't know Britney at the top of her game from the drunk asian girl who sang "Toxic" at the bar Tuesday night, but I don't see what the big deal was.
What I do take issue with are Britney's quotes regarding the performance. After the show she broke down Kanye-style and was crying and yelling, reportedly screaming "I looked like a fat pig!" over and over. We've obviously taken issue with female role-models, (guess whether or not any of the writers have a daughter) but for somebody who can barely be considered chubby to blow up over his or her body is just terrible form. Come on Britney, think about who is going to hear this stuff!

Hell yeah you looked fat…She wouldn’t have looked like that if she actually had on clothes. But then again, I suppose that is how alot of people dress these days. You can’t possibly leave anything up to the imagination anymore, where is the fun in that. Tell, that woman to get some clothes on, shape up her life, and try very hard to get out of the spot light for quite some time. AND STAY SOBER!!! For the kids damn it!

Fat? Are you kidding! She looks good to me! Was Marilyn Monroe fat? How about the millions (ahh…billions!) of other women who can be seen when they turn sideways (nice butt!). I don’t think so, Bubba! They look quite healthy and fine to me and to many other men (and to some women too!). I don’t know who came up with that Twiggy, pencil-thin stuff (ouch…your ribs are sticking me in my stomach!), but they didn’t ask me or the majority of men what a fine, healthy woman should look like. Britney, you look good girl! Don’t worry about the haters in the world. They are just jealous! Were I not already married to a beautiful, healthy woman…

If she had actually worn a nice dress instead of that horrible looking undergarments and sang instead of trying to lip-sync, and quit trying to gyrate like a tramp, then probably more people would have appreciated her performance. It is such a pity that she messed up her performance, because the song is a decent one.
