On the eve of Barry Bonds tying the home run record of Hank Aaron, I can't get over the state of Major League Baseball. Are you seriously telling me that a guy who is about to break the greatest sports record of all time can get away with saying that he "never knowingly used performance enhancing drugs"? Let's think this through. . .

Look at the pictures above this article. You have 'trans-sexual Bonds', 'Rookie Bonds', and 'Bruce-Banner-Is-Looking-Pissed Bonds'. At what point did Barry start to think, "Hey, this is weird. I've bulked up since getting my 'vitamin shots,' my voice has changed since using that 'ointment,' and my wang is shrinking at an alarming rate. What's going on?" C'mon, is this guy serious?

I hope for the end of Bonds. I think of what an incredible irony it would be for him to drop dead tonight of a heart related ailment, and have the ME find extensive use of steroids as a major contributor to the event. I'd settle for a reporter getting tired of being treated like crap and carving up our most despised and revoltingly ignorant baseball player with a dull hatchet, but I really hope for the heart issue. I'm sure if you read ITGS regularly you'll see plenty more about this ape.
