Ann Romney
This is one for the ages! Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney's lovely and tactful wife Ann recently advised in an interview that rather than live with multiple sclerosis, she wished "Couldn't I please just have cancer and die?" While I will make no claim to be the nicest person around, this just seems a bit off to me.
I've asked before, and I'll ask again - Is this chick serious? Again we have an instance of somebody in the public eye who does something ludicrous. Regardless of the circumstances surrounding her saying it, how many people do you think are out there who have dealt with the death of a family member or friend due to cancer who is saying "Oh yeah, Ann Romney is totally right. Dying of cancer is a better alternative to just about anything!"? I'm guessing not too many, what do you think?
